Enjovu;

A male elephant is called a bull, a female elephant is called cow and a young one is referred to as a calf. Elephants habitat Forests, savannas, river valleys, and marshes weighing up to 7000 kg and stand up to 4 m tall. Females are smaller than males. They are herbivores and they eat grasses, bark, roots, leaves, and fruit. They consume from 200 to 300 kg of food and up to 150 liters of water daily.

Female elephants usually give birth to one calf after a gestation period of 20 to 22 months. They live for about 60 years and are very sensitive animals. Their ears help them stay cool; as it flaps its ears, heat dissipates through abundant blood vessels
